M'KAY. so.

Recently, in any fandom that I have read fan fiction for, I have noticed and loathed the increase of HORRIBLE WRITING. Now thats not to say that all of what I have read is bad, but it honestly seems like writers these days have no concept of Grammar, sentence structure, pronoun use or any of the basic principals of writing AT. ALL.

MANY OF THESE THINGS COULD BE CORRECTED WITH SPELL CHECK, YOU NOOBS.

if youre going to put a story out into the internet, RE-READ YOUR WORK DAMN YOU! Put thought into your sentences! most of the things I've read have no body to them! just meaningly words strung together in the guise of a plot that has no prove or substantiation! I'm PISSED OFF AND ABUSING CAPS LOCK TO PROVE IT.

ANOTHER THING. Mary-Sue's (if you dont know what a Mary sue is and you're a writer, kick your self in the face because you're probably a Mary sue wirter, then check out this link [link]) seriously guys. unless its an intentional parody (such as Mary Sue from 's story "Sterotype U") THEN GTFO YOU TOOLS.

there are very very simple ways to avoid being a mary sue writer.

1: DO NOT INSERT YOURSELF INTO YOUR STORY. YOU'LL JUST BE ANOTHER BELLA SWAN.

really guys, self insertion is not cool. It usually leads to boring, flawless and personalityless characters who do nothing but MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO FLAME YOU. *coughTwilightcough*

2: DO NOT EVER USE YOUR OWN NAME, A VARIATION OF YOUR NAME, OR PART OF AN ONLINE SCREEN NAME AS YOUR CHARACTERS NAME.

because really, it does nothing to help the character.
